Yehezkel Chazom (Hebrew:יחזקאל חזום, also spelledYehezkel Hazum; 1947 – 21 March 2023) was an Israelifootballer who played as aforward forHapoel Tel Aviv. He competed at the1970 FIFA World Cup,[1] having previously played for theIsrael national team during the 1966 World Cup qualifying campaign.[2]
Chazom was born in Iraq and emigrated to Israel with his family at a young age.[3]
Chazom scored 97 goals in 324 league games forHapoel Tel Aviv.[4]
Chazom played in five official games for the Israel national team.[5]
He died on 21 March 2023, at the age of 76.[6] He was buried in theSouth Cemetery inHolon[7]
