Yashpal Jain (1912 - 2000)[1] was an Indian writer.[1]

He was born on 1 September 1912 at Vijaygarh, inAligarh district,United Provinces of Agra and Oudh, British India. He published many books, including children's books.[2]AjantaEllora,Ahimsa, the Infallible Weapon andPilgrimages of India are some of his notable works.[3] TheGovernment of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian award ofPadma Shri in 1990.[4]

He died on 10 October 2000.[5]
