Yani Stevenheydens (born 22 February 2006) is aBelgian racing driver who is set to race in the2025 F4 Spanish Championship. He was the2024 French F4 vice-champion.
After winning the IAME series shootout, Stevenheydens was announced to be making his single-seater debut in theFrench F4 Championship.[1] In only his second race inNogaro, the Belgian was able to take his first podium with third place.[2] This was followed by a double rostrum at thePau Grand Prix.[3] His first win of the campaign came during the penultimate round inLédenon having defended againstHiyu Yamakoshi for the win.[4] Stevenheydens would triumph once again during the season finale at theCircuit Paul Ricard, placing him seventh in the standings with 107 points.[5]
Stevenheydens remained inFrench F4 for 2024.[6] He started the season with two poles inNogaro,[7] and took a lights-to-flag victory during the first race.[8] More podiums and a double pole inSpa-Francorchamps followed,[9] before he dominated theNürburgring with a double victory, putting him into the lead of the standings.[10] He duelled with title rivalJules Caranta in the secondMagny-Cours race,[11] but managed to take a fifth win the next day with a dominant performance.[12] However, a double win inDijon-Prenois for rivalTaito Kato reduced Stevenheydens' points lead to a mere six points.[13] A second and third place podium in thePaul Ricard final round meant that Stevenheydens initially clinched the title,[14] but a post-race penalty for him in the final race dropped him behind Kato in the standings, forcing him Stevenheydens to settle as runner-up behind Kato by six points.[15]
Stevenheydens was set up for a step up toEurocup-3 in 2025 after a successful2024 season.[16] However, a lack of budget forced him to compete in a third F4 season, moving over to theF4 Spanish Championship withMP Motorsport.[17]
