Yahya Yuhana Mandi (officially registered asMandi Yehya Youhanna[1]) is aMandaean temple (mandi) inPrestons, New South Wales, Australia.[2] It is named afterJohn the Baptist, who is known asYahya Yuhana inMandaic.[3][4][5]

UnlikeGanzibra Dakhil Mandi, which does not have an indoor baptismal pool, Yahya Yuhana Mandi has an indoor baptismal pool utilizing pumped flowing water that is used formasbuta and ablutions (tamasha andrishama).[2] It is similar to a modern Jewishmikveh. A wedding canopy and a clayshkinta are placed next to the pool. The mandi also contains artwork byYuhana Nashmi. The mandi also has a congregation hall next to the ritual room.

Khaldoon Majid Abdullah is currently theganzibra (senior priest) of Yahya Yuhana Mandi.[6][7]Sahi Bashikh is atarmida at the mandi.[8] Another priest at the mandi is Tarmida Muneer Ashor.
