Xinji (Chinese:辛集;pinyin:Xīnjí) is acounty-level city ofHebei Province,NorthChina, it is under the administration of theprefecture-level city ofShijiazhuang. It is the easternmostcounty-level division of Shijiangzhuang. There are eighttowns (镇;zhèn) and seventownships (乡;xiāng) under the administration of Xinji. Xinji's main industry isleather. Xinji is located in North China, and theair pollution is a serious concern, especially during the heating period in winter, the concentration ofPM2.5 exceeds the standard limits.
Xinji City is sub-divided into 8 towns and 7 townships within its jurisdiction.
