Xavier Siméon (born 31 August 1989) is aGrand Prix motorcycle racer fromBelgium, competing in theMotoE World Cup. He is the winner of the2009 FIM Superstock 1000 Championship and the 2006European Superstock 600 Championship and the winner of the 202124 Hours Moto of Le Mans endurance race onSuzuki together withSylvain Guintoli and Gregg Black.[1]
At the2013 French Grand Prix, Siméon became the first Belgian rider sinceDidier de Radiguès in1990 to take a podium finish, when he finished third behindMarc VDS Racing Team ridersScott Redding andMika Kallio. Later in the season, Siméon took pole position for theGerman Grand Prix, the first such result for a Belgian since de Radiguès in1989.[2] Two years later, Siméon achieved his first victory at the2015 German Grand Prix at theSachsenring.[3] In doing so, he became only the third Belgian rider to win a motorcycle Grand Prix, after de Radiguès andJulien Vanzeebroeck.[4] Siméon won the2019–20 FIM Endurance World Championship with theSuzuki Endurance Racing Team with team-mates Gregg Black and Etienne Masson and the2021 FIM Endurance World Championship with team-mates Gregg Black andSylvain Guintoli.
