Xavier Ford (born May 30, 2000) is an American-Indonesian professionalbasketball for theBorneo Hornbills of theIndonesian Basketball League (IBL). He playedcollege basketball for theSacramento State Hornets of theBig Sky Conference.
His parents are Charles Ford and Diana Ford and reportedly has Indonesian descent from them. He studiedkinesiology at his time inSacramento State University.[1]
Ford graduated in 2018 fromMaranatha High School and played one season of varsity ball. He helped the Minutemen to an Olympic League championship that season, and was named first team all-area and first team all-league. He was also named a Pasadena Sports Now All-Star and averaged 18.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
Spent two seasons atRiverside City College inRiverside, California. His team did not play a game during the 2020–21 season because of the pandemic. As a result, Ford played the 2018–19 season at Elite Prep inCerritos, California and averaged 16.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Next season at the 2019–20 season he played all 30 games, their team went 21–9 overall and won a share of theOrange Empire Conference regular season, he averaged 8.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 23.2 minutes per game.
Ford joins theHornets and played in seven games, scored his first point of his collegiate career at theBig Sky Tournament againstMontana State. He averaged 3.7 minutes of action during his seven games played.
Played in three games, Ford finished with a point and three rebounds in two minutes vs.Stanislaus State Warriors, and also gained minutes againstUCLA Bruins and theHawaii Rainbow Warriors.

After graduation Ford was called up by theIndonesia national team for selection.[3]
Ford was rumoured to joinSatria Muda Pertamina, but it never happened.[4]
At November 26, 2024,Borneo Hornbills signs Ford, filling in his role as a heritage player.[5]
