Wytske Liselotte Postma (born 16 April 1977) is a Dutch politician from theNew Social Contract who was elected to theDutch Parliament in the2023 Dutch general election. She is the party's spokesperson for climate, energy, economic affairs, mining, and aviation.[1] She previously served as a Member of Parliament for theChristian Democratic Appeal from 2019 to 2021.[2]

Political career

In 2023, she was appointed acting chair of theInfrastructure and Water Management Committee. At Postma's urging, State SecretaryJurgen Nobel promised to extend a scheme reimbursing energy costs for low-income households, established in response to theglobal energy crisis, into 2025. However, Nobel failed to reach an agreement with energy suppliers and civil society organizations about its funding.[3]
