World's Cutest Tag Team was an Americanprofessional wrestling tag team consisting ofCandice LeRae andJoey Ryan. They are former one-timePro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)World Tag Team Champions.

History

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (2013–2015)

Joey Ryan formed a partnership withCandice LeRae, which led to the two unsuccessfully challengingThe Young Bucks for thePWG World Tag Team Championship on October 19, 2013.[1] On July 27, 2014, atEleven, Ryan and LeRae defeated The Young Bucks in aGuerrilla Warfare match to become the new PWG World Tag Team Champions.[2] On August 29, 2014, Candice and Joey, now known as World's Cutest Tag Team, successfully defended thePWG World Tag Team Championship in a three-way match, againstThe Addiction (Christopher Daniels andFrankie Kazarian) and the Inner City Machine Guns (Rich Swann andRicochet).[3] On October 17, 2014, World's Cutest Tag Team successfully defended their title again, beatingJohnny Gargano andChuck Taylor. They lost the title toMonster Mafia (Ethan Page andJosh Alexander) on May 22, 2015, in the opening round of theDynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament.[4]

Independent circuit (2013–2016)

On May 5, 2014, Ryan and LeRae entered theWSUQueen & King Of The Ring 2014 Tournament defeating Niya and Rick Cataldo in the quarter-final round of the tournament.[5] Later on they defeatedDrew Gulak andKimber Lee in the semifinals before being defeated byMatt Tremont andMickie Knuckles in the finals of the tournament. Ryan and LeRae have also worked together in Japan forDramatic Dream Team (DDT). On March 26, 2016, the two unsuccessfully challengedDaisuke Sasaki andShuji Ishikawa for theKO-D Tag Team Championship.[6] The team disbanded on January 16, 2018, when LeRae signed withWWE.
