TheWomen's World Para Ice Hockey Championships, are the world championships forsledge hockey. They are organized by theInternational Paralympic Committee through its World Para Ice Hockey subcommittee.
Prior to the creation of the Women's World Para Ice Hockey Championships, theWomen's World Challenge was created in2022 to expand female participation in Para ice hockey worldwide. This tournament acted as a precursor to the Women's World Para Ice Hockey World Championships. The first Women's World Para Ice Hockey Championships were held inDolný Kubín, Slovakia in 2025.[1] TheUnited States defeatedCanada in the inaugural tournament in2025.[2]
