TheWomen's Basketball League Americas (also known as theWBLA) is the topbasketballleague in Americas forwomen's basketball clubs.

First established byFIBA Americas in 2023, to expand the women's basketball competitions when previously, the South American teams, and the Central American and North American teams, played separate tournaments.[1]

At the initial tournamentIndeportes Antioquia of Colombia were crowned champions, beating uruguayan club,Malvín at the final disputed inRionegro.[2]

Format

The 8 clubs were divided into two groups of four teams, each with a host.

The two best-placed clubs in each group qualified for the Final Four.

The Final Four were established according to the standings of each team in the groups. It is organized by one of the qualified clubs. The semi-finales were played in a single-match, like the third place game, and the final.
