Wolves of Vučjak (Serbian:Вукови с Вучјака,romanizedVukovi s Vučjaka) was a paramilitary unit active in theCroatian War of Independence and theBosnian War. It was established inPrnjavor, Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1]

They were active in fighting inOkučani,Jasenovac andNovska.[1] In August, 1991 the unit took over the transmitter onKozara, and replacedRTV Sarajevo with Serb programming.[2] Its leaderVeljko Milanković was badly wounded on February 4, 1993 and later died at theMedical Academy on February 14.

A witness testified to theInternational Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia during Serbian leaderSlobodan Milošević's trial that the Wolves were trained inKnin byDragan Vasiljković, "Captain Dragan".[3]

In 2007, it was announced that the paramilitary's commander Veljko Milanković would have a street named after him inNovi Sad.[4] Non-governmental groups protested the decision.[5][6][7]
