Unincorporated community in Missouri, U.S.

Wingate is anunincorporated community in northeastCass County, in theU.S. state ofMissouri.[1]

The community is onMissouri Route P approximately five miles southeast ofPleasant Hill and nine miles northeast ofHarrisonville.Big Creek flows past approximately one mile to the north and east.[2] TheChicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad line passes the southwest side of the community.[3]

Wingate wasplatted in 1904, and named in honor ofJoseph Wingate Folk, 31st Governor of Missouri.[4]
