William de PalmornaDD (alsoPolmorva; died 1362) was anEnglish medieval churchman, college head, and universitychancellor.[1]
William de Palmorna was aFellow andRector of Exeter College.[2] In 1340, he was one of twelve Fellows selected forThe Queen's College, Oxford by its founderRobert de Eglesfield.[3] Between 1350 and 1351, he wasChancellor of theUniversity of Oxford. He was aDoctor of Divinity. He was aprebendary at the King's Free Chapel inHastings, within theDiocese of Chichester and also atWindsor.[3] He died in 1362 and left a legacy to Exeter College.
