William Jacob Kramer (January 23, 1884 – February 29, 1964), also known asWillie Kramer, was an Americanlong-distance runner.[1] He competed in themen's 10,000 metres at the1912 Summer Olympics.[2]
Kramer's first major victory was at the 1909USA Cross Country Championships. He won oneUSA Outdoor Track and Field Championships title in the 5-mile in 1910, and he then went on to repeat as cross country champion in 1911 and 1912. At the1913 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Kramer won thetwo miles in a time of 9:191⁄5.[3][4]
In his personal life, Kramer was aplumber.[3]
