Hi all — I'm currently improving two related draft articles:
They aim to expand on concepts that currently receive limited or fragmented coverage acrossChatbot,Conversational user interface, and related articles.
The drafts are being built with stronger academic sourcing and a focus on distinguishing conversational and voice-first systems in public infrastructure (like transit kiosks and emergency help points) from more typical screen-based chatbots.
I'd really value any feedback from this project’s members — especially about:
Thanks for any input or collaboration you can offer!

This WikiProject appears to beinactive, rather than semi-active: the main page has not received substantial edits in 3 years and the to-do list hasn't been updated since the start of the project. There arefew participants listed, and even fewer who are still making edits and theassessment page is still just the template. This talk page is mostly the RMCD bot notifying about requested moves.
Having a strong WikiProject for AI seems important, and I think there are plenty of strong editors out there who would be motivated to contribute, but it seems the current state of affairs - a project that never really got off the ground - is probably holding back the quality of AI-related articles overall.
I'm not particularly familiar with the mechanisms behind WikiProject management - I'd be grateful if more experienced editors weighed in - but as I understand it, there are a fewoptions:
The main reasons against marking as defunct or nominating for deletion are that there are~1200 pages in the WPAI category, and a talk history here, and it might be best to retain this for future reference.
Again, I'd be grateful if experienced editors or those involved in other WikiProjects could contribute their thoughts.Nmzzzd (talk)10:00, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be prudent to separate this project into Task forces like other projects have. Task forces for:
This might make it easier to manage the project.
Today in the next few days I'll work on refreshing the front page of the project. I'll remove dead links, add new tasks, add links, etc. I'll look into the big, active projects and use them as a guide.
@Nmzzzd: In case they don't receive a notification.TurboSuperA+(talk)06:08, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article2045 in artificial intelligence has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. In particular, thespeedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, andarticles for deletion allows discussion to reachconsensus for deletion.Bearian (talk)03:46, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I’ve recently submitted a draft that outlines practical ethical concerns and regulatory standards related to AI systems, such as ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act. I would appreciate it if someone from this WikiProject could take a look or consider reviewing it:
→Draft:Applied AI Ethics in Practice
Thanks in advance!--Veraium (talk)09:15, 24 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
