Hello. I am new to Wikipedia and I'm working on my first article/biography for McKenna McKee, who is an American track cyclist (16x national champion; three-time UCI World Championships team member) with type 1 diabetes. I've tried multiple times to get her biography accepted, even though a couple of her teammates' bio's were accepted with still-existing rule violations and no apparent revisions for some time. I believe the info on McKenna is significantly better documented than other similar pages. McKenna also has type 1 diabetes (since age 6). Managing this disease and being an elite athlete I believe is notable, and should be included in Wikipedia. Any help you can provide me is greatly appreciated.
As for me, I started more-dedicated cycling in 1979. Over that span of time, I have ridden many disciplines of cycling: century and double-century rides; 39 yrs of track racing/riding (some US sr natls, masters natz, UCI masters), 45 yrs racing total that also included TT's, criteriums, road races, MTB, cyclocross, and gravel.
Once I'm successful getting M's article/biography published, I would be very interested in contributing more to this group! Let me know what next steps I need to take. Thank you!
