Project goals and organization |
Our project is dedicated toimproving articles and coverage related to Canada in afair andaccurate manner, with an emphasis on subjects with national significance. Some project goals are to help improvevital articles, continuedeveloping quality standards, maintain and expandtemplates,lists, andcategories in a manner that helps users browse the articles that fall under this project's scope. Editors are encouraged to participate in themore regional and/or topic specific Canadian Wikiprojects.
TheCanadian Manual of Style is a guide applicable to all Canadian Wikipedia articles. It presents Canadian styles, and is intended to help editors to produce articles with proper Canadian language, layout, and formatting that are consistent, clear, and precise.

Assessments |
As of27 October 2025, there are156,512 articles within the scope of WikiProject Canada, of which301 arefeatured and950 aregood articles. This makes up 2.21% of the articles on Wikipedia, 2.61% of all featured articles and lists, and 2.22% of all good articles (see:Canadian Featured content). Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are313,024 pages in the project. The project has69,259Stub-Class articles and65,055Start-Class articles that should be expanded upon and improved. The project has427Draft-Class articles awaiting review and perhaps movement to main article space. The project also has a slew ofnew articles that may need assessments and reviews for problems and perhaps expansion. A listing of articles that require cleanup can be foundhere.
