TheWikiFallen are a subset of WikiFauna that were banished from the realm ofWikipedia. These creatures look like a pale and corrupted version of their normal counterpart. The WikiFallen cannot see this drastic change as their eyes still see theirglorious self and see anyone opposing them as gibbering worms. The WikiFallen should not be confused with theWikiTroll, though they do have similarities, as both are despised.
These creatures were once glorious creatures of the light. Some were once evenkeepers of the law. But pride in their work crept into their hearts; they foolishly believed their work was valued and worth the effort of writing. They think that theydeserve the praise of their peers and that therealm cannot prosper without them. These creatures of the living dead also realize that they have thedivine right toproclaim this to the creatures of Wikipedia; where such treacherous thoughts are deeply unwelcome. This attitude causeswidespread damage, deep dismay off-site and results in others takingharshmeasures. However, the WikiFallen might be hard to defeat as they twist thebenevolent energies of others to fuel their rage. However, after manyepic battles, the WikiFallen will be eitherbanished from the realm or forced intoself-exile.
A calm mind keeps the Fallen within from manifesting. Experienced WikiFauna utilizezen-like meditation to calm themselves. They also know thatanger leads only to destruction of the self. For those who are deeper in the path of the fallen,a choice between redemption and destruction is given.
TheWikiDragon is the most susceptible of the WikiFauna to fall. Some can still feel the praise of a lost generation of editors, a generation who built an encyclopedia, when they createdmajestic pillars of knowledge and breathed life upon the Wiki. But time has been cruel to the great wyrms and the land is no longer theplace they once knew. New editors, armed with the shackles of civility and policy, try to tame the volatile creative rage of the WikiDragons. Some would even dare venture to the Void of Off-sites to craft weaponry against the mighty Dragons. Surprisingly, most dragons are able to withstand and even turn the tide against their detractors, yet some still fall. These weakened dragons try to hide in theircrystal spires, thinking that they would be shielded from danger, but these too shall fail them in time. "I am ONLY at Wikipedia for the people who use computers to find information. That is the only thing I care about," cries the beleaguered Dragon, but this falls to deaf ears as the clash of blades and torn flesh fill the night sky. Battered and beaten, most devolve intoWikiOgres but some become darker versions of themselves. Like the mythical Hydra, they growmutated heads and youngdeath wyrms thatgnaw upon the lands that they once called home.
The fallen version of theWikiKnight is known as theDark WikiKnight.
WikiBadgers were primarily known for not caring about anything including the rules. While formerly tolerated, theirbitey behavior eventually caught up with many who were then fed to theWikiGiants. Those that remain have generally been redeemed.
AWikiNinja who becomes a fallen is considered aWikiShadow. Once known for their loyalty to the Wiki as WikiNinjas, a WikiShadow seeks to vandalize it covertly.
