A: No. You may choose any recognized flag providing it is freely licensed. If you do not choose a flag, or if your flag is not freely licensed, the judges will randomly assign you a flag at the beginning of the competition. You may choose a flag that has already been chosen by another participant or a new flag altogether. The judges reserve the right to remove any flag deemed inappropriate.
Q:Who does the scoring?
A: A bot is responsible for round-point scoring; however, the WikiCup judges review every submission. For the 2025 WikiCup, tournament points are granted manually by judges.
Q:What happens if a user stops editing during the tournament with or without warning or notification?
A: Nothing will happen. If they stop editing, they will most likely drop to the bottom of the round-point scoring table.
Q:How do I earn tournament points?
A: For the 2025 WikiCup, tournament points cannot be earned directly. Rather, tournament points are given to the top 16 round-point scorers at the end of each round; the exact breakdown is listedhere. Anyone who scores lower than the 16th-place contestant(s) receive no tournament points for that round.
