Tables are a great way to present data.
When you work with tables:
DO:
Usewikitables, notHTML tables.
Useclass="wikitable" to apply standard style.
Useshort, self-explanatorycaptions and headers.
UseCSS classes, not inline attributes, to set table style.
Make columnssortable as appropriate.
DON'T:
Don't use tables forvisual layout.
Don't usecolor alone to convey information.
Don'tnest tables if avoidable.
Don't usescrolling tables in articles.
Don'tsplit up sortable tables.
