Although they are nowhere near absolute guidelines, we will try to follow the applicable guidelines from theWikipedia:WikiProject Trains/Manual of style for our articles, as by doing so we will probably be most likely to get our articles to good-article or featured-article status most quickly.
Expand : All articles related to Edinburgh Crossrail, Glasgow Crossrail, Glasgow Subway, Edinburgh Tram Network and Fastlink,Category:Mapneed Scotland Transport articles, plus anything else applicable
Update : All articles. Add banner to all talk pages of articles related. Banner needs a broader image. Assess all articles and create cats what are red linked below
Other : find FA and GA articles for this project to set examples as
Consideration is required of theCity Union Line. A basic history of this line has been provided from its creation as theCity of Glasgow Union Railway to the closure ofSt Enoch. There is a brief of current use, and potential future use. It should also be noted that potential future use of this line is covered by theGlasgow Crossrail. This is based on the various schemes and studies that have been published over the past 20/30 years.

DeMoN2009 I know a few things about Scottish transport, and can take lots and lots of pictures (not because they have been requested here, but because I can!)15:41, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
hamishmcsporran (talk·contribs) 20 April 2022. My interest is in transport and industrial heritage / history. Not a trainspotter, but I have a thing for railway lines and systems.
Please add those articles that are candidates to become Good Articles.
As well as the examples above, have a look at, for exampleBristol Harbour &Somerset and their talk pages, as both show the type of work needed to bringgood articles up to this standard and they are recent. (OK they are not in Scotland, but I helpedwork on them)
Caledonian Railway - B class - has the makings, but needs far more inline references and photos before it can be considered.
British Rail Class 303 - B class - is another possibility, but needs far more inline references & I suspect we could all find more photos.
How aboutWemyss Bay railway station - start class -, its a small article, it has architectural merit, its photogenic, there is a railway & steamer interchange, rivaly between Calley & G&SWR on land and water. It could be expanded as a team project.
Please feel free to list your new project-related articles here (newer articles at the top, please). Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them should be suggested for theDid you know? box theMain Page.
We are considering implementing assessments according to theWikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment parameters. If the members of this project would like to engage in such assessments, please indicate such on the talk page. Also, if we do engage in assessment, it may when we implement assessment be beneficial for us to determine which articles are of greatest importance to the project.
Many projects, particularly ones which do engage in assessments, have one or more project coordinators. These individuals will probably be the members most connected to the regular management of the project. Any members who believe they may qualify should feel free to nominate themselves.
