Unused redirects. I am developingModule:Disambiguation, which will automatically detect disambiguation pages. In order to simplify the code, it is necessary to reduce the number of redirects, so I am starting by nominating the unused redirects for deletion. — Martin(MSGJ · talk)22:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, generally. Redirects are cheap, and you wouldexpect these to be currently unused because the template is removed once the tagged page is, in fact, cleaned up.BD2412T22:36, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep in princple: most look perfectly plausible, and as BD2412 points out, we don't know whether they get used or not. On a side note, is there really a need for a module to detect if a page is a disambiguation page? I don't know the inns and outs of the dab machinery, but all the dab templates add categorie, so I would imagine that a page is a dab page if it's a member ofCategory:All disambiguation pages orCategory:All article disambiguation pages. You don't need to parse the text and look for templates. –Uanfala (talk)23:27, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep just do a regular AWB run to replace them, if it's a problem for you. All the best:RichFarmbrough00:06, 3 November 2020 (UTC).[reply]
- Keep per abovebut deleteTemplate:Disambig-clenup andTemplate:Disambig-cleanip andTemplate:Disambig-cleaup which are clearly misspellings and not required.Shhhnotsoloud (talk)08:44, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep the redirects that are not misspelled, but the misspellings can bedeleted (includeTemplate:Diaambig-cleanup with SNSL's list). --Tavix(talk)15:32, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- DeleteTemplate:Disambig-clenup,Template:Diaambig-cleanup,Template:Disambig-cleanip, andTemplate:Disambig-cleaup as obvious misspellings, butkeep the rest perWP:CHEAP and everyone above. They still might be used to some degree. Regards,SONIC67819:04, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete the mispelled ones, butkeep the correctly spelled ones. Stuff like cleanip and cleaup aren't going to be particularly useful as templates, but the others ones all have potential for correct use.Hog FarmBacon02:24, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep as a batch without prejudice to considering individual nominations. Reasonable shortcuts.— Godsy (TALKCONT)07:04, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

non notable minor leaguer - player no longer with the Royals so no need for redirectSpanneraol (talk)20:19, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Without a mention, this redirect is confusing because the name may be ambiguous. This is tricky, because this page and those like it seem doomed to generate such redirects over the course of time, unless there is a "Former players" section.Shhhnotsoloud (talk)08:48, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- The result of the discussion wasdelete. "Hopelessly ambiguous" is the consensus, current target is clearly non-exclusive and there are far too many southeast coasts to disambiguate. ~mazcatalk20:09, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't unambiguously refer to the target, delete unless a justification can be provided. Could maybe be converted to a dab but the term is so broad that it may not be worth the effort.signed,Rosguilltalk18:28, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant redirect. Template name changed leaving redirect, but sole incoming link has been changed to use new name, so redirect now has no links and presence of endash makes it unlikely search term, so no reason to keep.Colonies Chris (talk)17:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- The result of the discussion wasprocedurally closed, with the article restored, as RfD isn't the place for discussing articles. There are sources out there, but if anybody (Lithopsian,Onel5969?) has concerns aboutnotability, then the place to discuss that would beWP:AfD. If the issue has to do withprimary topic status, then feel free to move/disambiguate, but bear in mind that the previous target may be seen as apartial title match, and is apparently pretty obscure itself.(non-admin closure) –Uanfala (talk)23:08, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
