Delete as uselessWP:CRUFT. This is a Minor Power of the Star Fleet Universe. It's not helpful as a redirect because someone searching for this would want specifc information on this subject, of which Wikipedia has none.Tavix | Talk 18:34, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete perMOS:ALLCAPS. A country isnot spelled with all caps.Pickuptha'Musket (talk)15:36, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep.MOS:ALLCAPS only applies to text in articles, some internal search tools are case-sensitive, and this is useful: gets (roűghly) 6 to 8thousand hits a month, i.e. about 1 hit for every 125,000 Scotsmen, which is about 124,999 hits per 125,000 scotsmen fewer than I try to hit each month. Comment' I was wondering aboutLeika, (transliteration from Russian or Ukranian) the first mammal in space, but he was a dog, so that's a long stretch. Mentioning only to eliminate. The R goes toLeyka, a Greek neighborhood, which seems unlikely or at least should be hatted, but we can't hat Rs in themselves. I will list separately:Laika.Si Trew (talk)21:34, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Steel1943: In case it matters, it's notjust an R from other caps. There's also a typo at the end of "Like" (e→a).Tavix | Talk 17:03, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Tavix: Yep, it mattered. My eyes deceived me, and my vote had been struck. I'm neutral now due to there being multiple issues in the redirect.Steel1943 (talk)17:20, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete.WP:RFD#D5 nonsense. Not at target. Not even is "TBP" without the qualifier at the target. Is this just someWP:PROMO for the album, that seems to be becoming more common here, or is that just my impression? We do, it seems, but only for how to write them (R to [[1]]), not what they mean. Since patently there was no0 BC norAD 0, by common consent I think, thefirst century ran from 1–100, the second from 101–200,etc cetera. There was a bit of aschism between the years (in Catholic countries) and 1752 (in Great Britain and her Empires) from theJulian to theGregorian calendars, but that is neither here nor there: Centuries start at 1 and end at 100. You wouldn't say a cricketer who made 99runs hadmade a century just because he or she started having no runs.Si Trew (talk)21:22, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You must have very short eyesight. An article was presented for deletion (WP:CENTURY although the other entries on the same subject did not explicitly mention it) but all similar areWP:RFD#D5 nonsense. Take that for the others as well, please.Si Trew (talk)21:57, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as confusing because the targeted article isn't a disambiguation.Tavix | Talk 05:52, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment.@Tavix: I think you would have been better keeping them together, or recombining them: the point basically is when a century starts. That didn't stop me celebrating New Year's Eve in 1999/2000 either, but I had another go at celebrating the Millenium in 2000/01, as well.Si Trew (talk)22:00, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • You didn't understand my rationale. It has to do with the fact that the qualifier says (disambiguation) and is pointed to an article that is NOT a disambiguation. It has nothing to do with anything you just said.Tavix | Talk 22:02, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I did: I probably just put them in the wrong one. I agree with you on your !vote, just I thought they were similar enough to stay together. Certainly that is misleading to take something ending in (disambiguation) to that which is not; no doubt about that. Nice to see you.Si Trew (talk)22:41, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure this was created as a joke.Tavix | Talk 03:17, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the case here because it's more than just a single transposition. The "th" in heath was also replaced with an "f".Tavix | Talk
  • I gave this some more thought, and I think it may do more harm than good being retargetted since there are several gardening tools that can be used for leaves or "hedging" (which actually had to do with finances) ... so,delete.Steel1943 (talk)18:17, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate redirect because BSPN.com is actually a completely different website for the "Big Screen Preview Network."Tavix | Talk 03:03, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment it can be considered a{{R from typo}} , especially as the uppercase "E" looks like an uppercase "B" when using serif fonts, so a plausible misreading of the term --65.94.43.89 (talk)05:45, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment, I am not sure I amquite with 65.94, but with removal of excessive whitespace from adjacent characters on small-resolution devices (the word escapes me, in my youth typographers will call itklining (which is red, and not listed at the DAB atkline) and can't find it on Google in that way - you know what I mean, in a proportional font, sans or serif, you abut adjacent characters so there is not too much whitespace, WA being the classic example) I can see how the B and the S could bump into each other. Not perhaps so much on the bottom part of the S. TSi Trew (talk)21:30, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's calledkerning. But that has nothing to do with the point I'm making. If you type "BSPN.com" into an address bar, you don't get espn.com, you get something totally different. It is harmful and confusing that we would make BSPN.com redirect to a completely unrelated website.Tavix | Talk 22:07, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's the fellow I wanted, thanks. I may have misinterpreted you, I was thinking with these touchscreen or handwriting devices that are popular now, from a visual (not typing) aspect would they be confused.Delete asWP:RFD#D5 confusing, since the two (according to a search from My Favourite Search Engine) are patently not the same, the first-named being the Big Screen Preview Network i.e. presumably (no way I am going to click through)movie trailers from the big film/movie producers.Si Trew (talk)22:44, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
