On Wikipedia and other sites running onMediaWiki,Special:Random can be used to access a random article in the mainnamespace; this feature is useful as a tool to view a random article.
Depending on your browser, it's also possible to load a random page using akeyboard shortcut (inEdge andChromeAlt+X, inFirefoxAlt-Shift+X).
To create a link to a random page in a differentnamespace, use[[Special:Random/Namespace]]. For example,Special:Random/Talk will take you to a random article's talk page. Selecting a random page from two or more namespaces is also possible by separating the namespaces with commas.Special:Random/Wikipedia,Talk goes to either an article's talk page or a project page. This also works with the article namespace as inSpecial:Random/Wikipedia,.
