ThisWikiProject was formed to foster better articles on theU.S. state ofOregon with a spirit of cooperation. This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to theU.S. state ofOregon, including its cities, geography, history, etc. It aims to make Wikipedia the foremost online reference for all topics Oregon. This page and its subpages contain tools for browsing Oregon-related Wikipedia content, and suggestions for improving it. Much of the activity is on the project'stalk page. You may also be interested in theOregon portal, a page that displays some of the better Oregon-related Wikipedia content.
To join this WikiProject, please sign your username under the members section and put{{User WikiProject Oregon}} on your user page.
We have also established aWikiProject Oregon blog (last updated August 2011[update]), to help build lines of communication with non-Wikipedians. Please take a look, and if you'd like to become a contributor, leave a note on thetalk page.

To add yourself to the list: if you're logged in,edit the list and put the following text at the end of the list for the current year: "* ~~~~" (leave the "quote marks" out) When you click "Publish changes," it'll fill in your user name & the time automatically.
Members on the active list may receive Collaboration of the Week and Meetup notices.
To join WikiProject Oregon, add theWikitext*{{subst:me}} with your areas of interest to the current participant list. Participants should also placeparticipant identification on their user page. Participants with by their names areadministrators on the English Wikipedia.
