The Great Portland Wiknic will be held atWillamette Park onSaturday (noon) June 23, 2012, as part of theGreat American Wiknic celebrations being held across the United States. Further information will be posted on this page as it becomes available (OR you can help with organizing on the Discussion tab!). Remember it's a wiki-picnic, which meanspotluck.

• Food and snacks enough to feed yourself and a few of your fellow Wikipedians (salads, lunchmeats, breads, condiments, etc.).
• A blanket
• Sunscreen; maybe a hat
• Beach umbrellas
• Water and ice
• Frisbee/softball
• Boardgames
• Friends
• Portable wiki and free culture awesomeness
