In general, when working with images:
DO:
Green check mark Review the imagestyle guide anduse policy.
Green check mark Givecontext withcaptions andalt text.
Green check mark Try to findat least one image for each article.
Green check mark Findfree images, orcreate andupload your own.
Green check markClean up images: crop, color-correct, etc.
Green check mark Use thebest file format for each image.
Green check mark Useobjects for scale where helpful.
Green check mark Place images in thesection to which they are related
DON'T:
Red X markDon't uploadnon-free images.
Red X markDon't use images in place oftables orcharts.
Red X markDon't use images orgalleriesexcessively.
Red X markDon't add images that arenot relevant.
Red X markDon'tflip faces, text, or works of art.
Red X markDon't setfixed image sizes.
Red X markDon'tsandwich text between two images.
Red X markDon't refer to images by theirplacement.
Red X markDon't place imagestoo early or at the end of sections.
