The White Lion is a public house inBarthomley,Cheshire, England, just off junction 16 of the M6. It was built in 1614, and is recorded in theNational Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II*listed building.[1]
It is on theCampaign for Real Ale'sNational Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.[2][3] Its thatched roof was damaged by a fire in 2013,[4] but it re-opened later that year.[5] In September 2023, its lease expired and the pub was closed for repairs.[6]
