Wharton Creek is a 36.1-mile-long (58.1 km)[2] tributary of theUnadilla River in westernOtsego County, in the state ofNew York. Via the Unadilla River, it is part of theSusquehanna River watershed, flowing toChesapeake Bay.
Wharton Creek rises in the town ofRichfield and flows southwest through the towns ofPlainfield,Exeter,Burlington,Edmeston, andPittsfield, where it empties into theUnadilla River at the village ofNew Berlin.
Fly Brook converges with Wharton Creek south ofBurlington Flats.Dundee Brook converges with Wharton Creek north-northeast of Burlington Flats.[3]
