Wetrom bin Bahanda (born 25 May 1970) is aMalaysianpolitician who has served as theMember of Parliament (MP) forKota Marudu since November 2022 and Member of theSabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) forBandau since September 2020. He served as theState Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister of Sabah in theGabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief MinisterHajiji Noor from October 2020 to his resignation in October 2022. He is a member of theSocial Democratic Harmony Party (KDM) and was a member of theMalaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the rulingPerikatan Nasional (PN) and GRS as well as formerly thePakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions and was a member of theUnited Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the rulingBarisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has also served as the 1st Deputy President of KDM for the Muslim bumiputera quota since October 2022.[1][2][3][4] He is also the older brother ofVerdon Bahanda, theKudat MP.
