Westerpark is a neighbourhood ofAmsterdam,Netherlands. It is bordered by theStaatsliedenbuurt on the south and theSpaarndammerbuurt on the northeast andSloterdijk area ofWestpoort on the west. It is a non-residential area, containing thepark by the same name, theWestergasfabriek (former gas factory turned into a cultural center), the Sint-Barbara cemetery, and railyards.[1]
Westerpark is also aformer borough of the city, which was merged with into the borough ofAmsterdam-West.
