TheWestern Hubei Operation was an engagement between theNational Revolutionary Army andImperial Japanese Army during theSecond Sino-Japanese War. Three infantry, one cavalry and an artillery regiment of the13th Division crossed to the south bank of theYangtze River nearYichang to attack the Chinese positions there.
