Weija constituency (now defunct) is a precursorconstituency which was demarcated into three new constituencies –Anyaa-Sowutuom,Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom, andWeija-Gbawe[1] ahead of theGhanaian 2012 general elections[citation needed] . It no longer has a representation in theParliament of Ghana and does not elect aMember of Parliament (MP) as the new name is Weija-Gbawe.[2] The former Weija is located in theGa West District of theGreater Accra Region ofGhana.
