Wāzakhwā District (Pashto:وازه خوا ولسوالۍ,Persian:ولسوالی وازهخواه) is a district ofPaktika Province,Afghanistan. The district center isWazakhwa. In 2019 the estimated population was 45,843.[1] The district is within the heartland of theSulaimankhel tribe ofGhiljiPashtuns.[2]
