TheWavelength 30 is an Americansailboat that was designed byPaul Lindenberg as aracer-cruiser and first built in 1980.[1][2][3][4]

The Wavelength 30 is a development of the very similarLindenberg 30, the prototype for which was a boat namedWavelength.[1][2][5][6]

Production

The design was built byW. D. Schock Corp in the United States from 1980 until 1981, with ten boats built, but it is now out of production.[1][2][7][8][9][10]

Design

The Wavelength 30 is a racingkeelboat, built predominantly offiberglass, with wood trim. It has amasthead sloop rig, a nearlyplumb stem, areverse transom, an internally mounted spade-typerudder controlled by atiller and a fixed finkeel. It displaces 7,000 lb (3,175 kg) and carries 3,100 lb (1,406 kg) of ballast.[1][2]

The boat has a draft of 5.25 ft (1.60 m) and is fitted with a GermanBMWdiesel engine for docking and maneuvering.[1][2]

The design has ahull speed of 6.93 kn (12.83 km/h).[2]
