Washington's 47th legislative district is one of forty-ninedistricts inWashington state for representation in thestate legislature. The district is in the southeasternKing County suburbs ofSeattle and includes all ofCovington as well as portions ofAuburn andKent.[1] It is aswing district that has elected both Democrats and Republicans to the state legislature.[2]
As of 2023[update], the district's legislators are state senatorClaudia Kauffman and state representativesDebra Entenman (position 1) andChris Stearns (position 2), all Democrats.[3]
