Wanda (also, known as Ichiwanda, Iciwanda, Kiwanda, Vanda, Wandia[3]) is aBantu language ofTanzania. It is considered a vulnerable language with less than 43,000 native speakers worldwide. At least half ofWanda people speak limitedSwahili, one of the official languages ofTanzania. Speakers are particularly concentrated inKamsamba ward in Momba District Council and Kipeta ward inSumbawanga District.[4]
