TheWales women's national under-19 football team, also known asWales women under-19s orWales WU19, is a youthassociation football team operated by theFootball Association of Wales.[1] The under-19 team represents Wales in international women's youth football competitions including theUEFA Women's Under-19 Championship.[2] The youth team is intended to prepare players for thesenior team,[3] featuring training camps and international friendly fixtures,[2][4] and can include players who have been capped for the senior team.[5][6] In August 2024,Nia Davies was appointed as the new head coach for the team, having previously managed theunder-17s.[3]
