Wachtendonk (German pronunciation:[ˈvaxtn̩dɔŋk]) at the confluence ofNiers River andNette River is a municipality in the district ofKleve inNorth Rhine-Westphalia,Germany. It is located west of theRhine halfway betweenDuisburg andVenlo at theDutch border. Its name means 'bailiff's Donk'.
