WWDT-CD (channel 43) is alow-power,Class A television station licensedNaples, Florida, United States, serving as theFort Myers area's outlet for the Spanish-language networkTelemundo. The station is owned by theTelemundo Station Group subsidiary ofNBCUniversal. WWDT-CD's studios are located on South Tamiami Trail inBonita Springs, and its transmitter is located between Old 41 Road and Michael G. Rippe Parkway south of Fort Myers.
On December 4, 2017, NBCUniversal'sTelemundo Station Group announced its purchase ofZGS Communications' 13 television stations, including WWDT-CD. The sale was completed on February 1, 2018.[2]
