WSOG is anFM broadcasting station on 88.1MHz atSpring Valley, Illinois. It broadcasts Catholic radio programs, primarilyEWTN Radio supplemented with local programs. It is licensed toSpirit Education Association, Inc. and has studios atSt. Bede Academy inPeru, Illinois.[2]
As of October 2009[update], WSOG uses 5 additional translators, and has applied for 2 more. TheRoman Catholic Diocese of Rockford has also applied for other stations.
In addition, as of October 2009[update], commercial station 94.3WPMJChillicothe, Illinois was in the process of being sold to CRCI, L.L.C., a company controlled by WSOG project coordinator[3] Allen C. Drake ofEl Paso, Illinois.[4][5]
