WAtoday is an online newspaper, focusing its coverage onPerth andWestern Australia. It was established on 10 June 2008 and is owned byNine Entertainment (formerlyFairfax Digital).[2]

The company employs ten journalists in Perth. It is based in the same building as Nine television, on St George's Terrace.[citation needed]

It is in competition with the online services provided byThe West Australian[3] andPerthNow,[4][5] both owned bySeven West Media.
