Vyacheslav Yevgenyevich Dayev (Russian:Вячеслав Евгеньевич Даев; born 6 September 1972) is a Russianassociation football coach and a former player.
He has played eight matches forRussia national football team and was a participant at the2002 FIFA World Cup.
After finishing his playing career he worked a children's coach inTorpedo Moscow football school. In 2007, he was appointed as acaretaker manager at Torpedo afterGeorgi Yartsev was sacked. Daev was remaining at that position for five weeks until he was replaced byRavil Sabitov.
Next yearRavil Sabitov was sacked and Dayev becameTorpedo Moscow caretaker again. He went on to manage theRussia national under-19 football team.[1]
