Voskresensky District (Russian:Воскресенский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of thethirty-eight inSaratov Oblast,Russia. It is located in the center of theoblast. The area of the district is 1,400 square kilometers (540 sq mi).[3] Itsadministrative center is therural locality (aselo) ofVoskresenskoye.[2] Population: 12,098 (2010 Census);[4]12,008 (2002 census);[8]12,080 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Voskresenskoye accounts for 27.4% of the district's total population.[4]
