TheVolkswagen Group E platform was a series ofautomobile platforms shared among multiplemarques ofsport utility vehicles (SUVs) (4x4s in theEuropean market). It was co-developed byVolkswagen Group andPorsche AG. All platform users shared theVolkswagen Bratislava Plant inSlovakia, with the Porsche Cayenne having final assembly at thePorsche plant atLeipzig.
