Volente is a village inTravis County,Texas United States located on the north shore ofLake Travis. A post office was first established at Volente in 1886, with Andrew J. Stanford as postmaster[3] but was not incorporated until 2003.[4] The population was 561 at the2020 census.[5]

Volente has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5.4 km2), all land.[6]
