Victoria Tran,^[1] known by herring nameViva Van,^[2] is an Americanprofessional wrestler signed toAll Elite Wrestling. She is known for her work on theindependent circuit, having made appearances for promotions such asRing of Honor,^[3]Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide,Impact Wrestling, andNew Japan Pro-Wrestling.^[4][5] She has also competed in theCMLL International Gran Prix representing Vietnam andNJPW Strong.^[1]

Van was born and raised inLos Angeles,California^[6] to aVietnamese-American family.^[7] Growing up, she was a fan ofprofessional wrestling andhorror movies.^[8] Her favorite wrestler growing up wasThe Undertaker.^[8]

While pursuing a degree in accounting, Van recalled "I remember I was miserable in accounting, I wasn't good at it at all," and "I've always had this secret dream of wanting to be a pro wrestler" instead. She eventually decided to commit to finishing her studies, change her major from accounting to marketing, and then begin training in wrestling. She graduated fromCalifornia State University, Fullerton in 2020 with a degree in marketing.^{[9][better source needed]}

Van also spent time at a performing arts school where she explored singing. After exploring the genres ofR&B andjazz, Van eventually became interested inmetal and later join adeath metal band as a vocalist.^{[10][unreliable source?]}

Van was trained byWWE Hall of Famer andAnoaʻi family memberRikishi.^[2][11] In an interview with Cultaholic, she talked about how a car accident led to her being able to begin her wrestling training, as well as her work with promotions likeLucha Libre AAA Worldwide.^[12]

Van made her professional wrestling debut in 2018.^[13] Since her debut, Van has worked for several promotions on the American independent circuit.^[6] She worked for independent promotions of theWest Coast such asPCW Ultra,Championship Wrestling from Hollywood,Hoodslam orDEFY Wrestling.^[14][15] She has also worked for national promotions likeImpact Wrestling,^[16]All Elite Wrestling,^[17][18] orRing of Honor.^[19] Internationally, she worked for Mexican promotionsLucha Libre AAA Worldwide^[20][21] andConsejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, wrestling for the vacatedCMLL World Women's Championship^[22] and Japanese promotionNew Japan Pro Wrestling.^[23][24] In 2020 and 2022, Van had tryouts forWWE, but was not signed.^[25]

On January 1, 2025, Van announced that she had signed with All Elite Wrestling.^[26][27]

Van is the vocalist for the Southern California heavy metal band Mocking of the Trinity,^{[28][better source needed]} who appeared on theLast.fm show Maidens of Metal.^{[citation needed]}

Van regularly modelled for various publications and promotions under the name Victorya Van Tran. She appeared in the July 2013 issue ofPetite Alternative magazine.^[29] In March 2014, she appeared inTattoo Envy as acenterfold model.^[30] In May 2015, she was thecover model forPetite Alternative.^[31] She also appeared in the December 2020 issue ofGothic Girl magazine, where she discussed both professional wrestling and heavy metal.^{[32][unreliable source?]}
