Viola Goretzki (laterLandvoigt; born 23 November 1956) is a retired Germanrower. She won aworld title in 1975 and an Olympic gold medal in 1976 at the1976 Montreal in theeight event.[1] For these achievements she was awarded thePatriotic Order of Merit in 1976.[2] Her husbandBernd Landvoigt, brother-in-lawJörg Landvoigt and nephewIke Landvoigt are also retired Olympic rowers.[3][4]
