Vincent Kiprop Chepkok (born 5 July 1988) is a Kenyan professionallong-distance runner who specializes in the5000 metres.

Chepkok was born in Kapkitony in theKeiyo District of Kenya'sRift Valley Province.[1] He won the silver medal in the junior race at the2007 World Cross Country Championships, finished ninth at the2009 World Championships and seventh at the2009 World Athletics Final.[2] He gained a major 5000 m win on the2010 IAAF Diamond League circuit, winning at theBritish Grand Prix.

He came second at theCross Internacional Zornotza behindJoseph Ebuya at the start of 2011.[3] He gained a place on the senior Kenyan World team after coming third at theKenyan National Cross Country Championships.[4] He repeated that position at the2011 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, securing thebronze medal behindImane Merga andPaul Tanui, as well as sharing in the team gold with the Kenyan men.[5] On the2011 IAAF Diamond League circuit he was third at theGolden Gala, won atAthletissima, then came third at theMemorial van Damme final to place second overall in the 5000 m rankings.[6]

At the start of the cross country season in November 2011, he came fourth at theCross de Atapuerca but won theCross de Soria a week later.[7][8] He finished second toEdwin Soi at theCampaccio race,[9] then finished behind Ebuya at the Cross Zornotza for a second year running.[10] Chepkok was fifth at the2012 African Cross Country Championships in March, taking the team title with Kenya.[11] He was runner-up behindSammy Kitwara at theWorld's Best 10K that month.[12] He was fourth in the 5000 m at the Kenyan trials, missing a spot at the2012 London Olympics, but ran a10,000 metres best of 26:51.68 minutes at theMemorial Van Damme meet. He won theCross Internacional de Venta de Baños in December.[13]
